About Trailmates

Our club is 168 families strong, based in Wausau, Wisconsin and hosts the annual Wausau Grass Drags, Swap Meet and ATV / Tractor Pulls with the volunteer help from our many members and their families.

Marathon County, Wisconsin, where we're based, is one of the counties with the largest number of snowmobiles and ATVs in the state of Wisconsin* so you know you're in good company. (As of 2009, we're 2nd in registrations only to Vilas County, home of the world famous Eagle River Snowmobile Derby and scenic Wisconsin Northwoods.) There are over 800 miles of snowmobile trails to enjoy in all of Marathon county; 884 to be exact.

We hold our regular meetings at our club shed located at 3625 County Hwy WW, Wausau, WI (map & directions below) and invite you to join us.

All of our members enjoy the benefits of being full members of the AWSC, Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs, an organization working to promote snowmobiling throughout the state. Membership includes monthly publication of Wisconsin Snowmobile News highlighting industry, legislative and community events affecting snowmobilers around the state, no matter how large or small the community.
